valentine's celebration

Mr. & Mrs. Jones, great friends of ours, hosted a Valentine's Wine Tasting Party
(I was so wrapped up in the festivities that not many pictures were taken, sorry folks.)

Every couple was to bring a bottle of wine they enjoyed along with a story to show off and sell your wine.
As we got further along in the tasting, we realized that some couples brought two or three bottles.  This posed a slight problem as this meant there were about twenty bottles to try.  Keep in mind, this was not an official tasting as we probably poured more than what you were supposed to and we did not spit it out.  I do not particularly like red wine so I only tasted the whites but I know my hubby tried all of them!
We actually voted on each wine we tasted.  Results have not been tallied due to the judges tipsiness at the end of tasting, winners to be announced at a later date.
Mr. Jones was our chef for the night and boy did he cook us a delicious meal:  stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat, bok choy, & cheesy lasagna with fried onions on top.  Delicious.
And to finish the meal off, Mrs. Jones had cupcakes!
It was a great way to celebrate Valentine's.
