Not everyday can you say you
hosted a baby shower,
celebrated Mother's Day
and enjoyed a boat ride on the lake...
all in one weekend.
Mom and I were busy bees getting ready for Alex's baby shower on Saturday.
Cleaning.
Breaking out the fine china.
Arranging flowers.
Decorating outside.
Decorating inside.
Showing off her beautiful name.
Then we were ready for the super-model mother-to-be to arrive.
And she was on time to her own shower. Very impressed.
There is no reason we couldn't have spiked punch, we just kept the mother-to-be away from it.
Gotta have cupackes.
At this point I believe my sister was ready for my to stop taking pictures.
Time to open all the gifts, and there were a lot!
Thanks to everyone who came. Alex received so many wonderful gifts and has enough baby clothes to change Annabelle Catherine's outfits three times a day.
Now we are counting down to the birthday!!
