We have been putting off cutting back our limbs and we were hoping to save the trees but I believe the time has come to give it up and cut them down. Unfortunately they are dead on the inside and one of these days we might not be so lucky as to where the limbs / tree fall. Very sad.
This limb had speared the ground so deeply that the hubby had to saw it off at ground level
and leave part of the limb in the ground.
Positive outcome : Filled up the fire wood pile.
