My parents came for a visit.
A holiday weekend of course will involve tasty beverages and delicious food.
Oh. And we rescued this little guy...
This little champ came running up to my mom and I as we were finishing up our jog in my neighborhood. Immediately we noticed how thin he was and he appeared to have a wound around his throat. I quickly picked this little guy up and took him to my house. As you can see, he has had a hard abused run of it.
Very very skinny. And it appears he was once tied up with a rope that has cut his throat.
Derby even let him borrow some of her toys.
We are taking him to the vet today for a full check up and to get this guy feeling better so we can find him a good loving home where he can be spoiled rotten.

To be honest, these pictures don't show how badly this guy is hurting.
We have currently named him Barry Bones because he is sooo skinny. But you can also call him "BB" which could stand for Barry Bones or maybe Bad to the Bones. But through all his abuse, he is the sweetest, friendliest little champ.
All he wants right now is to sleep, eat, and be loved. And that is what he is going to get!
